If you are already bankrupt but you are struggling get advice and help here

Hi, I went bankrupt last week and yesterday the court called to organise a telephone interview for next week. Can anybody tell me what will happen as I am really nervous about this.

Hi there Vikki and welcome to the forum

Firstly congratulations for taking the first step towards resolving your debts.

I understand that you are nervous about the telephone interview, this will be the official receiver overseeing your case. It will be to assess your financial situation in more detail, how you cam about the debts and what if anything you can afford to pay towards your debts.

In general people find that this interview is far less daunting than they thought and obviously it depends on the OR but usually they are very fair and pleasant.

i have attached a ink to a forum post that I hope will help reassure you. Please come back to us and let know how you get on or if there are any further questions your have. good luck :)
