Hi,

Can anyone help me?

Recently I really felt pressure on Wescot for calling you at a reasonable time and they are using language threats to confuse you.

I tried to communicate well but they ignored me.

Tell me what should I do?

Hi Mary022

Debt collecting companies like Wescot do have to treat you fairly. If you feel they are calling at unreasonable times you have every right to tell them not to do this.

If course they may ignor you but if it continues to happen my suggestion is you tell them that unless they stop you will escalate a formal complaint about them to the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).

I assume you are struggling to pay the debt owed. Is this your only debt or have you got more? Depending on what you owe a debt management plan might help you get back in control.

Have you considered speaking to Step Change about it? They are a free debt charity who might be able to help you. Alternatively give one of the advisors on this site a call (Beat My Debt) and they will be happy to give you advice.
