Discussion and questions about what to expect when your IVA is finished

How long will it take for my IVA completion certificate to come through? My last IVA payment was made in August and I still haven't got my certificate from my IP. Is this normal?

Hi there WalterS and welcome to the forum

Generally speaking an IP should be able to get your your completion certificate through withn a month so it does seem that you have been waiting a long time. If I were you I would give your IVA company a call and chase them up. Let us know what they say.

Hi there WalterS

Did you speak to your IP? Are they going to send your completion certificate over to you?

Thanks for your advice. I called my IVA company on Monday and was told to expect something in the post by the end of the week. I think they might have forgotten about me.......

My advice is keep badgering them until you have received your certificate WalterS. This sounds like a pretty poor show on on behalf of your IP....

Hello WalterS

This is really not a good enough service from your IP company. I hope you have got your certificate through now but if not call your IP again.
