I did an IVA about 7 years ago and my debts were all satisfied OK. However, I have stupidly got myself into a mess again with a self employed business. Can I apply for an IVA again?

I do not think there is any reason why you shouldn't do another IVA. If you have got into trouble again for legitimate reasons then it is an unfortunate situation which needs to be dealt with in the same way as happened the first time round.

You are certainly not the first person to find yourself in this situation and I have worked with people in the past who have undertaken second IVAs.

As such, there is nothing to stop you carrying out another IVA if you have found yourself in difficulty again. However, the IP you use will need to understand exactly what has happened so that this can be explained properly to your creditors.
